In 2007 the "Blue Flag" was awarded to Gouvia marina, Zea marina and Lefkas marina.
 
The Blue Flag is a program of environmental awareness and protection which runs in 35 countries in Europe and other parts of the world by the Foundation for the Environmental Education (F.E.E.)
You are kindly requested to take notice of the following:

Please:

• Dispose any harmful and toxic litter (Batteries, paint, chemicals etc.) safely in the designated areas of the marina.
• Maintain the marina area clean.  Use the designated bins/containers for your litter, preferably in plastic bags safely tightened.  Please use the special recycling bins for all recyclable litter.
• Use oil tanks, which are located in designated points in the marina, for disposal of all of your used oils.
• Park your cars only in the designated parking areas.
• Use only the proper electrical cords and adaptors for connecting shore power. For any problems contact the marina’s office.

Please do not:

• Open the electrical boxes by yourself.  
• Operate the ship’s radar.
• Run the engines or the generator for long periods of time.
• Use the toilet aboard if the boat is not equipped with a special holding tank.
• Fish in the Marina.
• Barbecue aboard or on the pier.
• Use fireworks.
• Dispose of your bilge or waste liquids in the sea.
• Park your vehicles and motorbikes on pedestrian areas (beyond blue bars on pier).
• Waste water and electricity.

HELP US TO:

• Keep the Marinas' green areas in good shape.  All natural vegetation must be maintained as is and intact.  Any damage of the surrounding natural areas is strictly not allowed and should be reported to the authorities if noticed.
• Keep the Marinas' showers and toilets clean and in good working order.

UPON ARRIVAL:

• Please locate the public telephone, lifesaving, fire-fighting, environmental protection and first-aid equipment.
• Please ask the marina’s personnel on how to use the above equipment.
